Television Zombies is Part of the Earwolf Challenge!

Monday, July 11th, Earwolf debuts a new podcast designed to find their next show. It’s a reality show of sorts, with weekly eliminations of the ten podcasts competing for the spot. And Television Zombies is one of them. We hope you’ll cheer us on each week.

Welcome to The Earwolf Challenge: America’s 1st Reality Competition Podcast! 10 podcasts will compete over the course of 10 weeks to win a year-long contract with Earwolf. TVZ is a Parsec Award Finalist

Just a quick note – Television Zombies was nominated and selected as a finalist for the annual Parsec Awards. Out of 38 shows that were nominees, TVZ is one of the five finalists.

There’s an independent panel of judges that will vote on the winner which will be announced at Dragon*Con (September 3-6) in Atlanta. Pretty cool.

Television Zombies Pledge Drive!

After two years, the Television Zombies podcast has grown beyond our wildest expectations. We have reached the point, however, where the costs of hosting the podcast and keeping up our equipment have outstripped our meager budget. We have long striven to keep Television Zombies independent and free of advertising, and we do not intend to change that. This is why we are asking you, dear listener, for your support so that we can continue to offer a running archive of Television Zombies episodes and produce the highest-quality shows possible.

February is pledge drive month here at Television Zombies — if you enjoy the show, then please consider making a small donation through the pledge button on our Web site. Listeners who pledge $10 or more will receive a TVZ refrigerator magnet made by our own Tina Seamonster and will have their names read in the credits of the program. And the first listener to pledge $50 or more will be gifted with their own theme song, written and sung by the one and only Christopher Piers.

The money we collect will not be tax deductible and will go towards server and equipment upgrades. When February is over, our pledge drive will be over! Thanks!

Television Zombies is proud to add a new podcast to our growing family of shows. The new podcast, Chuck and Tina Spread VD, will launch its new site soon, but the new episode will be available on iTunes this week or you can download it right now by clicking here.

Chuck and Tina Spread VD is a half-hour podcast featuring TVZ hosts Chuck and Tina talking specifically about the CW show Vampire Diaries. Please give it a listen. We launched it because of the listener demand!
