A Supernatural Primer

- by Dan Terner | Filed under: Featured,Recommended, supernatural

Supernatural is quite possibly the best television series you have never seen. Look up the show on various sites on-line and you’ll see episodes tagged with words like ‘supernatural’, ‘drama’, ‘horror’, ‘sexy’, ‘demons’, and ‘sci-fi’. If a sexy supernatural horror/drama about sci-fi and demons isn’t your cup of tea, I hear Sprout soon will be [...]

Navigating the World of Webisodes

- by Chris Piers | Filed under: Casual Zombies,Featured,News and Commentary,Recommended

With TV mostly dead throughout the summer, I’ve found myself turning to the internet for entertainment just as much as a rerun or DVD season set of a TV show. One form of online tv-viewing is watching a webisode. These range tremendously in quality, while the networks decide exactly what is the most beneficial way [...]

Review: Charlie Jade 1.9 – “Betrayal”

- by Ben Rollman | Filed under: Charlie Jade,Doctor Who,Featured,Recommended,Reviews and Recaps

It’s all about time. According to IMDB, Chris Roland (the series co-creator) has written or helped write all the episodes thus far. The same source also says only 4 of the 9 episodes thus far have been written or directed by anyone but him, including the pilot. Why then was this the best of the [...]

Preview: Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog

- by Chuck Knigge | Filed under: Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog,Featured,Film,News and Commentary,Recommended

When the Writer’s Strike was still in full force, Joss Whedon got antsy and his genius could not be contained to writing only comics and limericks on the back of napkins. So, what’s the logical solution? To develop a supervillain musical and release it to the public for free via the internet! Obviously… Starring Neil [...]

Review: The Office 4.13 – “Job Fair”

- by Chuck Knigge | Filed under: Featured,Recommended,Reviews and Recaps,The Office

This week is kind of a strange one. Michael drags Oscar, Pam, and Barrack Obama to a high school job fair in an attempt to sucker children into working for their boring little office. While Jim, Kevin, and Andy hit up a golf course to try to sell paper to a potential client. It’s a [...]

Casual Zombie: Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil

- by Tina Seamonster | Filed under: Casual Zombies,News and Commentary,Recommended

Jonah has mentioned this show a few times on our podcast. I just wanted to note that on tonight’s episode of Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil, Andy Kindler and Patton Oswalt expose the Evils of American Idol and High School. Check out a preview: Both high school and American Idol feature harsh social criticisms, [...]

I don’t own a car. Never have. But if I did, you can bet your Bawls I would get me one of these Trunk Monkeys. In the future, when aliens invade our planet, Trunk Monkeys will be our ultimate savior from the butt-probing extremists. They’ll kick more alien tukis than Captain Steven Hiller. Then they’ll [...]

Interesting Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Tidbit

- by James DiBenedetto | Filed under: Featured,News and Commentary,Recommended,Sarah Connor Chronicles

Not sure if this is a fansite, something done by the promotion folks at Fox, or a product of the creators of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, but whoever is behind it, it’s pretty neat. What is it? It’s the website for EniTech Research (corporate motto: “Changing tomorrow. today”), a company that’s doing some cutting-edge [...]
