I use Hulu infrequently enough that a paid subscription model wouldn't be too upsetting to me, but I do hope it stays free.

Jeff: This episode, you said that you and Tina download and watch episodes of The Office on your 360, rather than on Hulu, because you'd rather watch them on your TV but your TV is otherwise occupied recording other shows that conflict with The Office. Have you considered using PlayOn? Setup is incredibly simple. It lets you stream video content from your computer to your 360. Among other things, it can stream Hulu content. This way, you could watch Hulu on your TV via your 360. I set it up a while back to see whether it could be a viable replacement for my cable service. I don't think I've got it working to the point where I'd want to give up my cable, but it's pretty impressive and comprehensive. There's a 14 day free trial and then a one-time fee for the software. http://www.themediamall.com/playon/ There's also an active community at http://www.playonplugins.com that develops free plugins. The plugins allow you to stream most networks' online offerings to your 360 (eg. CBS, YouTube, CNN, ESPN, Food Network, SyFy, etc).

gotta say the news about hulu probably going pay has got me angry. the only way i could see people paying for something like that is if the shows went up before they go on TV. because why would you pay for a show that was on TV last night or last week?

That's perfectly understandable Tina, it's certainly not everyone's cup of tea as I have a few friends who can't stand it.

As an aside, after tonight I can't wait to hear your guys take on V. I loved it personally, outside of one bit of obviousness that comes with using too big of a star in a certain role. Hopefully you guys will like this, because while I've loved FlashForward so far I know you guys haven't been high on it at all.

Yeah, I realized that between the time we recorded the episode and when we posted it. I had to watch it one more time.

The Venture Brothers premiere only was backwards chronologically for the Venture family perspective. All of the Brock Sampson stuff was shown in forward chronological order.

bill, like i said, i just couldn't make it through an episode because of the music. it could be because i have little kids and have to listen to music like that all the time. obviously it has to be wrapped up in smarts for so many people to like it. but the setting (high school) and the music and dancing make me run far away.

add some vampires or zombies and i'd try again.

Glee is awesome. It's a fun show, the musical aspect is outstanding, it's very funny and it plays around with cliches and stereotypes better than any show currently on the air.
