Scifi movies that came out this year:
Moon
Up
Star Trek
Monsters Vs. Aliens
Race to Witch Mountain
Land of the Lost
My Sister’s Keeper
Terminator
Transformers 2
Wolverine
Other scifi movies coming out this year:
G-Force
Aliens in the Attic
Thirst
GI Joe
District 9
Time Traveler’s Wife
Gamer
The Surrogates
Astroboy
Planet 51
Nine
Avatar
Admittedly, half of those aren’t really even close to hard sci-fi, but still. We get plenty of scifi, I’d say.

Up
Moon
Star Trek
Transformers 2
Wolverine
Terminator Salvation
I might see Thirst, District 9, Surrogates, Nine, and Avatar.
GI Joe sure looks like shit, huh?

I like how you used the computer glitch guy’s O’Poyle character from It’s always sunny in the show cartoon Chris. You could also use his inbred cousin character from Caravale or his Lyle The Intern character from David Letterman. That guy is good.

I remember watching an Australian kids show when I was younger, called Round the Twist. that was about these three kids having supernatural adventures. look it up.
