Web-based television shows are becoming more and more prevalent, and this past Saturday evening, awards were given in the first annual Streamy Awards. The Streamys are given by a consortium of new media companies, Tilzy.TV, Tubefilter, and NewTeeVee, and an independent board reviewed and nominated awards in 24 categories. Below are the results:
