Of all the shows I can think of, I bet the most fun had on-set is on the set of Supernatural. I have a feeling stuff like this happens all the time. I suspect the same is true of Dexter. I’d love to hear about behind-the-scenes hilarity for either of those shows.

The blooper reels for Superatural are classic. Jared and Jensen are sort of known for their pranking and the crew have gotten them back. One of the pranks is on the season 2 bloopers where the crew dumped gallons of water on them when they were climbing down into a manhole. They did the old blacken the binocular gag on the guys. Jensen’s song above came from Jared not giving him his cue, and of course, the result was the subsequent awesomeness.
There was a postcard project which is more or less ongoing and they had postcards from fans from all over the world all over the walls of their office. In my fannish experience, and from the interviews with the guest cast, it’s been a really friendly, happy place.
Jim Beaver said: There’s an element of fun that runs through the entire company, it’s not just Jared and Jensen. There’s a lot of banter and pranks and fun with the camera crew and the grips and everyone. We all work very hard and we all take our jobs seriously, but it’s a company that from top to bottom really seems to understand that if it ain’t fun, it ain’t worth doing. We have a blast.
