This week the TVZ crew discusses Torchwood’s “A Day in the Death” and argues about Lost’s “Meet Kevin Johnson.” Tina says it is okay to kill to get your kid back, while Chris says murder is bad! The news of the week and an extra discussion about faith and reason in sci-fi television. Our longest episode ever, and some extra funny outtakes after the closing tune, so be sure to listen!

I don’t know. I like Natalie Portman. She was pretty good in Closer, Garden State, and V. I don’t think she was good at all in Star Wars, mostly because of Lucas and his directing/writing. It’s sad when the best acting from her that happened in those prequels was the scene in III when she’s looking across the city and she’s not even in the same room as “Ani.”
And how can you hate on this…?

I left a horrid voice mail, fair warning. The gist of it was 1) The term you guys were looking for was “secularism” when talking about faith v science and 2) That there’s a larger debate between something being sci-fi and something being Science Fiction and you guys were getting really close to that topic.
Good episode. One sitting, btw.

very interesting topic, faith in TV. I wanna find more shows that do it as well as Lost.
