Folks, there’s a campaign underway today to save NBC’s best new show (and possibly the best show of the 2007 fall season), Journeyman, from cancellation. Regular listeners should know that we’re all big fans of this show, and we really want it to survive. In my personal opinion, Journeyman is the most maturely written, serious scifi drama on television, today. Killing the show before it completes its main story arc would be a travesty in the highest order.

Tonight, Journeyman will not be airing — so the idea is for fans to watch the show in a way that will get NBC’s attention.

There’s two things you can do make this campaign a success:

1) Go to NBC.com and stream episodes of Journeyman from the Web site. Do at work, do it at home, watch every episode you can.

2) Purchase and download last week’s episode of the show, “Blowback,” from iTunes.

NBC already reversed course on Journeyman‘s last filmed episode and have scheduled to air it later this month due the creation of the excellent Save Journeyman Web site. This may at least ensure a “back nine” commitment to finish out the season order, or a shorter order to finish out the story. At the very least, we want them to let Kevin Falls finish his story and answer any lingering questions we may have.

Let’s not allow them to kill off such a good show with out a fight.
